In 2008, my mother was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Plus.
This marked a turning point in my career as a physical therapist.
I retrained the focus of my practice to work primarily with people with Parkinson’s, first as Parkinson’s exercise specialist, now as a wellness coach.
Due to popular request, I have expanded my practice to work with the adult children of parents with Parkinson’s.
All of my clients live with Parkinson’s everyday, whether they or their parents have it. I can’t change that. But what I can is to help them change the way they do.
